I thought that was for e30tech and r3v was for the more grown up "fuck bitches, fix bimmers" type of crowd.

Because when Chris at E30tech turned into a flamboyant homosexual and met his new boyfriend he stopped allowing people to join E30tech,
This made all the retards he usually harbored and called friends, come here.
Then his boyfriend and him needed money for a vacation. So they tried to charge membership fees. Making even more retards come R3V's way.

Now we have a lot of retards that we like to keep around because the "fuck bitches fix bimmers" crew just messes with them. You may experience this with your thread, you may not...

They have to prove their vehicle speed was accurate in order to claim moving radar accuracy. If you force them to admit they didn't set the tire pressure to the manufacturer's specs for speedo accuracy, then they can't claim their reading is accurate.

Also, I always ask if there were any other vehicles present. This is especially important if there was a box checked in the "conditions" area that indicates there was other traffic around. Say "according to the ticket, you indicated traffic was light (or moderate or whatever). "Can you recall any of the details of the other vehicles present? They generally cannot. Ask them if there were any vehicles larger than yours. Trucks, delivery vehicles, etc. Doesn't matter if they remember of not. You are just demonstrating to the judge that the cop's recollection is hazy. Next, ask if radar can distinguish between vehicles of different sizes. (It cannot). Now, (use their correct name and title) given the fact that you do not recall any details regarding the other vehicles operating in the vicinity, and given your testimony that radar cannot distinguish target size, is it possible, that my vehicle was not the one that was speeding? All they have to do is admit that it was possible....

There's several ways. Basic stuff... check certifications. I've gotten out of many a ticket simply due to them not bringing a certification saying the gun was calibrated. Also, check dates on any certifications. Often times they grab the wrong one and if it says it was calibrated in 2009 and it's 2010... no proof present to say it was calibrated at the time of the traffic violation.
              Need a part? PM me.

he ever heard of moving radar?

"That is when the patrol car clocking you is in motion, as opposed to "stationary radar" when he is parked. Some units have two radar antennas, one pointing out the back, the other out the front. The officer has two switches. One selects the antenna, the other selects the direction of the vehicle he wants to clock, either "same direction", or "opposite direction".

and if you dont want to get a ticket dont speed.

                Please leave feedback below, thanks

It's not hard. Just be cool and utterly forgettable at the traffic stop-I even ask where to mail the fine-so he doesn't think I'm going to fight it. Make a stink, and he'll be taking notes.

When you go to court, never try to explain why you are right. Rather, carefully phrase your questions so that you can create doubt. Do this by forcing the cop to admit that radar is not infallible, that there were other vehicles present that he can't remember anything about, and that regardless of his desire to uphold the law, he had only seconds to evaluate the situation and decide which car is the offender.

It's easy to look like an idiot if you aren't very, very prepared. You need to know procedure as well, so make sure you sit-in at the court during a traffic day before your court date. If you observe a judge who always sides with the cop, pay the ticket and move on. Some battles aren't worth the time.

I personally enjoy leading a cop who is sure he has me to his doom. I love making them look incompetent. With an E30 M3 I get plenty of attention. One cop actually admitted he wasn't sure if I was the one speeding, but my car looked fast. Ooh! I asked him to describe my fast car-he couldn't remember any details- and further pressed him to please define for the court what design elements make a car appear fast to him. His attempt at an answer was actually goofy enough that people in court were shaking their heads. The judge finally said "I've heard enough. Case dismissed." Music. Sweet music!

If you are pretty sure you're busted and won't be able to beat the ticket, before you go to court check your state's rules on speed enforcement. In several states, unless a traffic speed survey was completed on the stretch of highway where the ticket was issued within the last 5 years, the speed limit is unenforceable. I've used that once. Judge was forced to dismiss, which is good because I was 55 in a 35 and wasn't another soul around...

Lastly, since I bought a Valentine 1, I have had no more tickets. That thing is amazing!

I honestly didn't know they could clock you that way, either. That's how I got a speeding ticket in my Volvo about 6 months ago, I was shocked.
