So let's cut through all the bullshit. The whiners get all offended if they accidentally click on a thread and their eyeballs bleed. They also offer up a lack of civility as a reason they want a sub-forum created.

So....how about the guys that start a political thread insert *POL* in the title, just like people put *NWS*. This isn't difficult. It's isn't like typing 5 extra characters is an affront to your liberty or anything.

Then the moderators can watch them for a while and actually moderate things like personal attacks, name-calling and the like.

Now, all the "OMG I accidentally clicked on a political thread and I'm sooooo above it" types will not have to worry, and maybe if the those individuals with the title of moderator will flex those administrative rights and censure those who engage in abusive behavior, we might have a win/win situation.

By the way-to any mental midget who might confuse "censure" and "censor", they do not mean the same thing.
