June is the first time we'll ever be forced to have insurance. Personally, I think it fucking sucks.

And why is that? I think there is only 1 other state that doesn't require car insurance. I am glad they are making it mandatory due to all the drunks on the road here. They also need to get on the ball with emissions and inspections. OBD2 cars get a quick scan but nothing else. 1996 and older dont require any sort of inspection. So you get a lot of clapped out cars on the road with unsafe tires and brakes, no working lights, not to mention all the cars with holes rusted through the frames.

Our weather contributes heavily to this (mainly hail). Homeowners insurance is equally expensive because of this. Also the cost of uninsured/underinsured coverage do to the large number of rednecks/white trash/illegals with no insurance.

          But $1800 a month? Fuck.

My insurance isn't even half that.

The bolded section means absolutely dick about anything. And the rest of your little soap box opera was laughable.

Ooops, meant to type year, not month. Even still that's $150 a month.

But still that's outrageous. I guess all the bumfuck hillbillies in this state have poor driving records, shitty credit and lengthy claims history.

my e30, with absolutely nothing except liability is $80/month.

my rx8, with absolutely everything, is $160/month.

                            tell me that makes sense.

You have a shit driving record apparently.

I pay $80/month for full coverage with a $500 deductible on my 350Z.
