Opinions on a 88' Supra?

I used to really want an '88 supra until I read about how underpowered and heavy they were. I still think they have a cool look about them. The same for rx7's and nissans from that era. I also LOVE the z32.

Why don't you consider a well maintained e36? The door panel problems they have are an easy fix. Why grandpa bought a pos 325i and it cleaned up very nice. Quiet ride, sure footed handling, rwd, decent power. A 318ti is a car I'm looking to get when I can afford it.

There were no six cylinder ti's sold in the US. They only brought over the 318ti I believe. But that is what I am looking for, since it is half an E30 anyway.

Get a front engined porsche. '87 or '88 924S is a highly underrated car and can be found in really good shape for less than 5K. The 924S of that era literally had the same engine as the 944 and was faster. It's a porsche so it has a definite coolness factor.

yea, you want a 924S like you want the CLAP. run away really fast from anything other than a 968 if you want to get into a front engined NA Porsche

If you like older toyotas buy an early nineties alltrac celica, comes with a turbo and ~220hp stock with all wheel drive.

That looks like a CSX with the TII Turbo Dodge engine. Nothing that OP wants (Cheap, reliable, fast) but neat none the less.
