From appearances it looks like the US automakers are doing well, but I still question the decision to kill off the G8. Even though Pontiac ceased to exist I think they could have moved the platform over to Chevy or something, the G8 GXP would have been a great bargain used if they produced more of em.

I would say the big 2 Chrysler is just lost. The new jeep cherokee is the only thing they have going for them,, and in my mind suv are a dying breed.

I truely believe wagons will be comming back, even though bmw stopped the 5er wagon comming here. Massive mistake imho the gt is fugly and impracticle. end rant.

There are several domestic cars I would buy, the new buick being one of them,,,, its a damn good car buick or not. However, the new hyundai's are pretty nice and going to be hard to compete with...... May neighbor who is completely anal just got rid of his M-class for the Santa Fe and couldnt be happier,,,, wow he took a bath on M-class and is still happy with the decision.

I'll never own a car from Government Motors, either. I don't care what "new leaf" they've turned over (BS, they still make junk for the most part). The cars they've made for the last 30 years have been horrible, and it's not the first time they've needed government help.
