Anyone who says you'll get bored with a super sport likely hasn't gotten anywhere near to their limit. I imagine that individual is a douche.

I dont really buy into that concept at all. MAYBE getting bored with a 250 but you can always have an excuse for more power. But the bulk of people arent even using the power they have. I sure as fuck am not. I know I dont need to upgrade to an RR in order to be fast, I need to figure out how to maximize the 140 I have now.Im now E30less.

Your assumption is true, in regards to doucheness, but I asked him because he several bikes. The only reason that he suggested something a little bigger 750 vs 600 was due to me weighing more. His comment was basically 1000 is to much for a first bike, you might get bored with 600 as you weigh more, so in between is 750.
I agree with not needing anymore than ill use. That's been the only guidance I've received until now so 600 is definitely something Ill look at.Comment

Shit I weigh 300 and I'm looking into a 300cc bike. All that power isn't needed. It's just for reckless individuals who want to go fast on the highway. 300ccs is more than enough.Comment

Anybody know the rough value of a 2000 R6, 39000 km on it?
Guy wants to trade me the bike and gear for my 99.5 B5 A4 1.8t.
I don't have the first clue on used sport bike pricing anymore...
I assume middle of the road shape. I am waiting on pics.Comment

Thought I would bump this to say that I'm looking into a zzr600.
Seems like the perfect combo between sportbike and something a bit more mild.Comment

I am looking for more of a toy to tinker with. I have found a couple of bikes on CL that I liked. I'd like some opinions on them. I have looked briefly on what it takes to make a bike street legal in WA. It doesn't seem too bad, plus I could just take pieces off later on.
I used to have an 05 R6 for around a year and not too much in to that scene anymore.
