I know where you are coming from. Girls like guys that don't care, or can some how act interested in them but appear to not care at all. I don't know how it works, it just does for guys I know. My problem, and perhaps yours, it that I care and can't really act like I don't.

My nerdy-kinky-girl-who-thought-she-wasn't-cute just left for college in Alabama and regardless of her "type", she, like other girls, still had that "They want what they can't have but once they have it, they don't want it anymore" attitude that pushed us apart. Seriously, if you are unable to meet women that you think are worth dating. You are:

A) too young for women who are interested in long term relationships.

B) not bringing to the table enough for women who are interested in long term relationships.

C) a hopeless romantic who thinks you will find the PERFECT 100% soul mate for you and won't settle for anything less.

D) lacking the social skills to interact with women who are looking for a long term relationship.

From the story and comments, I'd venture on D. But that's just my opinion, you could be in some other category... not listed even. Bottom line, it's not America's women that are at fault here. It's your inability to socialize with them and determine which would be worthy of your time.

If I were you... I'd do a little more screwing while young and drop the "holier than thou" routine. Remember sex is VERY important in a long term relationship. Practice it while you can, unless you want to find a suitable mate and have her cheat on you.

This is just my .02... I've been with my wife 13 years (holy crap already!) and just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. I don't know everything, but I know enough.

Oh I left out the part that Mike really liked her, and seemed to be mad at me because she was talking to me instead of him.
The fact that he went into the room after her with an easily guessable goal, and that both stayed in there for the rest of the night, makes me doubt her second statement she told Luke the next day.
