I'm still new to Linux, only been using it inside of a month on the laptop. It's really starting to grow on me though, it's WAY more stable and infinitely more customizable than XP, plus my 1.5 Celeron laptop feels like a fucking supercomputer running it.

Thumbs up, I think I'll keep it on there for a while, at least until I pick up a Macbook Pro and chuck that thing in the garbage.

Have you played with Compiz yet? People at work see my desktop and all the effects and they want it turned on. I tell 'em too bad, gotta get Linux. LOL

I switched since a patch from Microsoft broke the validation service in Vista 64-bit... It died 30 days later. F-ing POS Microsoft.

where do you get linux, we use it at school alot and i like it i just cant figure out where to get it, we use redhat at school as they are based off of our campus

Oddly enough, someone put it in the NWS thread. It wasn't posted that long ago but you might have to go several pages back.

Resized down from 2960x1050. It doesn't line up because the 2 monitors are running different resolutions, but they line up pretty good next to the actual monitors.
