I can't say I was impressed. But then again the first season of TG UK was terrible too. I got canceled completely before coming back with a new theme. It's taken them 15 seasons to get to where they are now. I'm not going to hold my breath, but I'll wait to pass judgment until I see a few more episodes.

On another note, did anyone watch the premier of Brewmasters? It was awesome! That Bitches Brew stuff is delicious, I bought a few bottles when it came out this last summer. That show I am looking very, very forward to.

Cast sucks. Not funny. Too scripted. But in their defense, they can't get any worse. So maybe they've learned from their mistakes and the next show will be a bit better eh?

Definitly wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. I agree it just didnt seem natural. To much scripting not enough honest opinion. Thats what make it top gear, otherwise it's just another car & drive show. I'll give them a chanve

I still don't understand why people don't like Adam Corolla. The chemistry that he had with Jimmy Kimmel on the Man Show is exactly the kind of thing that American Top Gear needs.

Have you heard the bit where he talks about when the filmed the Discovery channel pilot for the show? he actually got me excited to watch it and it sounded like he was excited to be on the show and was having a great time doing it.

My bigger issue was that, it well, was complete shit as a car show. They were loose remakes of old Top Gear UK skits and they were poorly executed.

For starters, they didnt tell you SHIT about the cars. The Viper skit was lame enough but instead of having two shitty comedians talk about beating off to Pam Anderson talk about the fucking car.

Its not going to get much better because they cant shit on car makers like the real TG crew can. They also appeared to dumb it down for the US, being pretty fucking blunt and no sarcasm or anything. "This is the stig, he is a professional racing driver and you cant see his face." How fucking lame. Why not be entertaining and say he doesn't have a face, or say he is the ashamed lovechild of Mayweather and Janet Reno?

Unless it radically changes (which I doubt) I wont be seeking it out. And I dont buy the "its their first try guiz" capt save-a-ho defense. They had a fucking stellar format basically handed to them from TGUK and spent like 3 years gearing up for this. Did nobody take notes?

Also whoever the italian guy is he should not be allowed to do interviews ever again. You had a fucking astronaut/test pilot and you give him some shitty softball car questions for 30 seconds?

Edit: I could easily make a better version of that shit show and all for less money. History can pay me $40k a week to produce it and all I am going to do is download the UK show, put in a disclaimer in the beginning telling you that if you cant figure out conversion from KPH and pound sterling then you are an inbred redneck fuck and should be watching Glenn Beck anyway.
