Yes, my best dog came from a pound, I rescued it the day he was going to be euthanized. Best dog I ever had.

I feel your loss, i've put down two of my bestfriends myself. I couldnt bring myself to let someone else do it so i did it. Its okay to let your emotions go, most guys here understand. It really is one of the hardest things you have to do in life i believe.

I got our family dog before i could really remember. He was always there to hangout with and be around whenever i needed someone but really didnt want to talk to anybody. The end of the summer before i left for college my mom decided that he was too old, couldn't see, and had trouble walking. It was deffinitely the toughest thing i had to deal with as i left for school. Im sure you'll get through it, but good luck anyway! It will be tough.
