          The 5.3 Z66 tows 8k, that's the towing package with the 4.10s. The Z71 is the offroad package and has a taller 3.73? (I think) rear end. The 2500 has an 8.1 and it is rated for 12k. I had the Z71 which was the lowest rated Av.

          We'll see how the Titan handles it. I doubt I'll be pulling more than 6500 or so in the future, more like 5k. I think (hope? LOL!) this truck will be plenty.

            still not a locker in all reality the Eatons are a hybrid of the 2.

            Lockers are full lock and are either Air or electric operated, LSD still allow for one wheel to turn faster than the other.

                Seems pretty pointless to have the body 2ft higher in the air than the diff and rest of underbits. Reminds me of that chrysler SUV with the "fake" ground clearance, you can see plain as day a solid rear axle practically scraping the ground.

                  Most of those bro lift kits provide zero clearance, let alone any actual flex. The axles sit no higher than they did stock with the exception of the taller tires. For the record I hate the things and I have room to say that as I work service at a GM dealership and maneuver the dozers on a daily basis.

                        Here's our truck:

                        I believe it may have been a "bro" truck in it's past life, but now it gets the shit beat out of it on the farm, either being used to fetch firewood/brush in 1+ feet of snow, hauling 200+ gallon water tanks, or towing the manure spreader. Rear bumper has integral floodlamps, which are amazingly useful when you're working at night.

                        On the lift kit:
                        It came with 3" suspension lift & 3 inch body lift. F*** the body lift, it messed up all the shift linkages, but it's too much work to undo, so we just deal with it.

                        Pic is old, it now has non-crap tires with some useful tread, fewer window decals, and no rust.

                        Only upgrades it needs: front and rear T-2 carriers.

                          yep, drive anything less than a fucking Kenworth, and all you see behind (or coming at you) you are these assholes headlights. almost like being constantly high-beamed. simple solution is a 1,000,000 candlepower spotlight right back at them though.

                              negative. My e30 is no slouch but my F150 is quicker, roomier, quieter, more comfortable and has 8!!! cupholders. I'm using a 93+ octane custom tune through a Gryphon - 370 hp and 4.10 gears, Afe intake and full Gibson exhaust with headers.

                              here is an f150 5.4 with a cam swap and setup similar to mine. Tell me this thing is not quicker than an e30 with just a cam swap/exhaust/intake.



                              As for my e30, its quicker than a stock M20 but not that much faster. S50 is next.

                              I have a friend with a propane injected super duty. He can smoke all 4 wheels from a stand still. That thing is stupid fast.
