Look into 996's too. Form what I've heard they're very underrated and pretty reliable, price is coming way down too.Leave a comment:

I drove a E46 M3 for 55k+ miles. Was very reliable. All I ever had to do was change oil, spark plugs once, and a single coil.Leave a comment:

You wont regret it. Get a PPI before you make a purchase. Replace your Vanos filter and get the subframe reniforced. Throw on some headers and youll have an amazing car. Get some coils as well. My car is on AC Schnitzer coilovers, it handles like an absolute dream.Leave a comment:

Scribble out E46 and write E30, it will work. Plus JasonC has no E30 either...Leave a comment:

Danny. I'm afraid that, despite my best efforts, I couldn't get enough people to rally together to get you to be a mod again. I'm sorry. I have failed you.Leave a comment:

Yea, if you find something LMK and I can go check it out for you. I have a friend who is a factory cert BMW tech, Bo from Bo's Motor Works. He can do a PPI for you tooLeave a comment:

e46 m3.
I love mine. Mine has been very reliable. Only PITA is door trim that sags due to shitty eco glue. Easy fix though. I have smg, it sucks sometimes, but I love it other times. It will be hard to find a manual in that price range. It was for me anyways.
The e46 m3 is not very powerful (low torque and 3400lbs), but Im going ESS sc + headers to solve that problem. But its still pretty quick in stock form. ;)Leave a comment:
