    Word, 3 e36's, none have had subframe issues; all have had rtab issues. Buddies have a e36 and e46's and none have subframe issues either.

    Still think the STI is a better choice coming from e30, but e46 m3 is so much sexier.

    I've seen every type of Mini Cooper come in all for the same issues. The electric steering fail. Timing skips a tooth. Carbon build up. The heads always end up coming off for some sort of replacement/repair. I wouldn't own one, plus, they're FWD. I just don't care for any type of Mini Cooper and I don't like the way they drive. But hey, that's just me :)
