Used to love and I mean LOVE the show when i was a kid. (1980 - 81).
Never seen a General Lee before til around 1997ish. Im at car show as a vendor with my ice cream truck and one is there. Before the car show starts I go over and check it out. Two brothers owned it and were the two biggest assholes ever. When I walked away from them I said I'd would have one because they were so fucking un cool.
Found this one in San Diego couple months after. 6 month it took to make it.
I thought it would cost no more than $12,000 to make but I was wrong. I estimate around $26,000 is into the car.
What could I do? I was totally into it but knew I'd never ever sell it. It's a keeper.
