granted it wasn't a telephoto lens i have no doubts in using one for the same quality of photo....

A friend of mine has a couple lenses that might work with your camera. He sold his camera, the lenses are sitting on a shelf. Not sure what he wants for them. They are here in Napa. I can't remember what size they are.

ya, the longer ive had this 60D, the more i dislike it.

That's a crazy amount of noise, most sensors do better on the light end of things compared to dark with noise. But that seems really bad, I thought it was at least 400-800.

And why are we talking about canon having noise or not, as if they only make 1 model? My 7d does well for the price in noise. but its cell phone quality at 6400 compared to a d800 or 5d3 that look amazing at 12800 still.
