Quick question to the masses; my b-day is coming up and I'm getting some cash toward either a GoPro or a Tele lens for my D80...something like a 70-200 because I don't have anything that can really zoom at this point. I also don't have anything that can pull HD video. What would you all choose? I'm sorta torn between both. And rules:

Well is there a bigger need right now?

DO you absolutely need to zoom?

A GOPro is an absolute wonderful advantage since it can do so much more.

My opinion. GOPro. with all accessories. Im sure you can find an other decent zoom lens for cheap.

I use my prime lenses more than my kit lens

Spike, cbouchez; thanks for the feedback! Well, I don't shoot any video now as my older DSLR can't take video like newer cameras. My temptation with the GoPro is maybe it'll open up new possibilities for me...although I am a little worried it won't get used much. The lens can be tossed on the camera at any time....I'll let you guys know what I choose! I don't know a whole lot about GoPros still...gotta do some more HW!

Thank you, I tried getting a slower speed but the lens diffraction at f22 was pretty awful. And cause it was with my 14-24mm nd filters were not an option without an expensive adaptor.
