I hate adjusting white balance, unless its auto.

I read a page how to do it, it made no sense. Hahahaha

Are you shooting RAW or jpeg? RAW is the only way you can truly adjust WB.
Unfortunately I have some old photos that were really cool but shoot in jpeg with horrible WB.

But that Alfa shot is from somebody else, and is not raw.

Work on composition and the rule of thirds. Look it up on Google. T2i is a very capable camera. Have fun!

Are you shooting with your moms cam? Just put it on RAW for when you shoot then back to gaypeg when your done.

What flash setup are you using in this shot and what lens.

sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 at 10mm (I have it taped to 10mm)

SB-800 flash mounted in the hotshoe bounced straight up off the ceiling.

to much vignetting?

borderline too much, but that is just my taste. i generally add vignetting for portraits to the point just before you can notice it, unless i'm going for a special effect.
