if you underexpose the photo and try to increase exposure during editing, you will introduce more noise



I start with white balance or exposure, then i usually increase the contrast, then go back and make sure the WB/exposure is still good.

the last thing i do is sharpen.

by the way, for you guys "just starting out" with photography, i highly recommend watching as many videos as you can done by Jared Polin on youtube.

Jared is a riot. Haha not really, but very helpful.

God watching him use lightroom makes it so easy, its so visual and not precise... just easy.

should i look for a 24-105 f4l IS or the 24-70 f2.8? i love IS but 2.8 has its quality's as well. i really want to do concert photography. what do you all think?
