I have. Nikon 180mm f/2.8 AIS is the sharpest lens ive ever shot. Problem is the D90 wont meter with AIS lenses. I can deal with MF but when I gotta fuck with exposure to during a shoot I have issues. I like everything to flow naturally and Im gonna miss that perfect moment if I gots to mess around with stuff nawwww meannnnnn.

Im having trouble dialing in my aperture and shutter length. And ISO. Gosh, I usually keep my iso at 200, 400 if its darker

150 for shutter speed, and as low aperture as I can go

^you're back again?!?! I didn't realize you shot as much as you do. Pretty cool, I'd like to do portraiture for fun, weddings seem too stressful for me. I guess some people are okay with mediocre wedding photos but I couldn't be, and I know there are people with so much experience that they will blow me out of the water... even if they cost more it's worth it.

But yeah Ive been taken pictures alot longer then Ive been working on cars. No matter where else my life takes me I can incorporate photography with it so I know I could never let it go.

And yeah, weddings are realllly stressful. I mean you literally CANNOT miss a shot, and then when its all said and done and you hand over the final product your stomach is always turning.

Its about learning what works and what doesnt. And obviously its all about light and the kind of result your looking for. Chances are you will come back and read this in a year and be like why didnt it make sense then?

Love the blur you get with the f1.4. Still a nice shot even if the focus was off some.

Your works looks eerily similar to an older member that's been banned twice... maybe you're trying to fly low this time or maybe you're actually new.

REgardless, are you focus and recomposing? I'm sure you know but that could be throwing your AF off.

I've read MF is way easier on FF... one more reason... :rofl:
