this was in 1990 ish (High school) it was really scary up till about 130MPH and then I just kind of gave up on caring anymore, the calm was sureal.
if you have never done that kind of speed in something of that age, you just would not understand what I am talking about.they kind of skip around and such...

255km/h in a 93' Mustang 5.0ho, modified, did the run from Kamloops to Merit BC in 18 minutes. (about a 55 minute drive usually). that was fun, that was in the early 90's as well.

Yes, in 1996. Down the backside hill at GA tech. The board was a Foundation there were only a couple made, it was @ 3 feet long on some super soft kryptos and Indy trucks with swiss bearings. I was shitting my pants, but it was for the board and for a case of beer. So I did it.

that's crazy. I can barely do 40mph pedaling my brains out, downhill on my road bike! and it can still be a bit scary if there are corners..

189 mph, in one of my old boss's Porsche 911. Scariest but sickest feeling ever, being glued into the bucket seat was insane.

In the e30, I've done about 126-129 mph on my way to Vegas, for a good 12 miles or so. The little POS is still with it's original M20, no chip, no MAF, completely stock with a fresh timing belt job :)

uhh did they change the gear ratio in it or something? The gearing in C6s Z06s won't go above 205mph in stock form...

i'm not sure what cam he had, or what valve springs, but he was revving it to 7800rpm. i am also unsure as to what gearing was in the car. but damn that was fast.

bigger wheels will change the gear ratio. I think even just a couple of inches of taller drive wheel could easily get another 10 mph at that speed.

Stock 86 325es- 105, motor was screaming haha.
Stock 96 328is- 125, felt like it had a lot more but it was on the highway so that was fast enough for me.

Not the fastest I went, but I did 111 MPH in a 2010 Lexus GX for good 30-40 min. Damn thing was limited to that :(

Interesting, for some reason I had always thought the Concorde was a Mach 1'ish cruiser. Wikipedia proved me wrong.

Mach 1.3'ish is my fastest at work, but haven't had the e30 much over 90 on the way home. Touched north of 140 in my old C43 before I ran out of road and balls, and that was probably enough for me at those speeds in a car......

Ive done 130 in my old 24v E30 that was enough.

165 in my old 1973 Plymouth Duster was way to sketchy floated all over the place. I was 16 and dumb as hell.
