My speedo indicated 135-140 in my cracked head stock 325is on rt1 going from PA-MD. Took a little while but I was suprised it got there as quick as it did.

I do have a "verified" 145+ in my VR GTI I had previously, Schricks, tune, full exhaust, yadda yaddda weight reduction yadda.

143mph (230kph) in my 336, car felt fine and I was only in 4th gear but I ran out of road. I'm curious to know what it would do if I could hit 5th.

I have gone 140 in about 5 different cars

140 in my last car
140 in the m50 e30
140 in my friends e46
140 in my friends sister's is300 (we were like 17)
140 in a 370whp srt4

I don't really have a desire to do the time for that speed any more, so I'm not sure if I'll ever drive faster than 140. It's all downhill from here fellas.

I took my E30 to 178 mph, verified by a GPS speedometer.

AA SC S52 with a 2.93 in the rear.

It got there without problem.

It felt fine roadwise.

Held it for about 45 seconds at 6200 rpms.

It felt absolutely incredible to be me.

Anyone ever went faster in an E30?

Approximately 130 in the E30, Highway 92 toward the San Mateo Bridge.
Hit 145 in my parents' Volvo Cross Country with Ipd software tune, dp, etc..

been like 135-140 in the e30 a few times. pretty much topped out..

I don't know why some guys doubt the M42.
With a few things here and there, they will surpass the stock m20 limiter

90mph in my eta. then i backed off.

120mph in my previous IS.

150mph in my rx8, top of 5th. i saw taillights in the distance, so i never got to 6th. havent cared to repeat it either. the world moves by pretty damn quickly at 150mph.
