Almost hit a cat the other day. Was in the Subaru and stopped fine. Funny thing is he was on the right shoulder just chilling all fine and ran back across the road..

I hit a bear.

Scrolled through the posts and I am pretty sure no one has posted that they hit a bear.

Do I win something?

Story: Black bear, maybe a 300-pounder, 10pm, Marengo, WI (it's a gas station and post office town), on a dirt road, w/ my one of my buddies standing on the running board, couple more ppl in the car (Toyota sequoia). We were doing maybe 40ish, and the ol' bear lumbered out in front, couldn't stop fast enough in the gravel, THUMP, the bear was shunted into the ditch, and he ran away. We went home and armed ourselves to the teeth and went looking for the bear to put it out of its misery.

No luck.

Surprising amount of damage to the Sequoia, given the non-dramatic impact. I huess it is just all hollow plastic up front, must have been easy(ish) on the bear.

I hit a few little brown animals when I was cruisin in my subaru one day. Still not sure what they were, but the collision somehow took out my rear window...

Hit a Koala. Was doing some spirited driving through the hills and the little fucker ran out on the road. My options were; hit koala and rip front lip off, hit a cliff face, hit oncoming cars. Killed that bastard; destroyed front bumper.

Don't worry, this wasn't in an E30. Just a FWD Corolla.

a squirrel ran into one of my buddy's car on a country side road. i was driving behind him when this happen. it was funny as fuck...it just bounce back and starting running the way it came from...

yep, hit a small black bear about 15 years ago in the M3. It was dark and i had it wound up pretty tight and elips on bright flying down a curvy mountain road and damn out of the blue this black thing jumps out and I go full brake. bam! damn! and It ran off.... I had these black hairs hanging on the left fender and bumper. Had to replace the left fender and and respray the hood, fender and left door panel to get it to match. It knocked the black air intake cover off the bumper and it was lost. To this day, 15 years later if I am with the family i'll slow down and look over in the ditch where it would be, just to piss em off. its turned into a big joke.

Ran over a skunk in the car in my sig.
Fucker bounced between it and the ground probably 6 times. Took me forever to get comfortable with getting under it again.

Deer (PGL, twice)
Family of Raccoons (PGT) Not proud to say it, but I got all of them at once. So, Thankfully, if it could be said, that the babies didn't go starving to death.
Squirrels. Many

Flock of birds (1977 chrysler Newport. Pulled a lot of birds out of the grille, not a scratch)

All I can think of. I'm not an inattentive driver. I've had one Vehicle on Vehicle accident 5 years ago. Other driver ran a stop sign. My lowly Probe GL totalled out the Isuzu rodeo. And I still drove that car until 1st, 3rd, and reverse went out. Then I sold it. The next guy drove it like that for 7k miles before scrapping it. That car had a HARD life

I live in wisconsin.... Lotsa forests that roads carve through.
We also have ditches. Lots of things like to hide there, and freak out when cars pass by on the roads. Magically appearing ten feet in front of you, 2 feet to your right, running as fast as they can across the road.

With those two things being taken into consideration. I accept any an all punishment the SPCA may deem necessary.

If we had one.... Which we should.... Every city should. And trust me when I say this. I'm not proud or happy to kill an animal with my car. It just happens a lot up here. Deer collisions make up 15% of ALL motor vehicle accidents in WI. In Shawano county, in 09 they made up more than 50% of all vehicle accidents.

Two deer and ran over a dead one.

Hit a white dove in my first car, a nissan pulsar. If the t-tops were off, it'd have ended up in the car. I hit a turtle once also, kinda like a speed bump but it makes you feel bad. I really like turtles.

Ran over an armadillo in my firebird doing 80 was like going over a rock or speed bump THUMP went my right wheel bottoming out in the inner fender luckily everything was fine

2 or 3 Kangaroo's and nearly cleaned up some cattle once, that would've been messy...
