yes one of the perks of growing up on the farm. Grew up on 100% whole milk right off the bulk tank in the milking parlor. None of that pasteurized homogenized shit you get from the store.

One of the things I really miss about the farm.

    Probably a 1/4 gallon a day.

And I go through a 5lb blocks of tillamook about every other week.

    I am a diary fiend.

I love cereal, and OJ taste like shit with it.

Maybe twice a year i have a nice big bowl of cereal. then i take a six day shit.

And on a side lactose note, me and my buddy both became intolerant in college when we got food poisoning from Wendy's. Fuck Wendy's, Carls J FTW

Vegan six days a week, so not a whole lot. Coconut milk ftw.

There is some kind of fat in milk that is not good for the heart that is normally passed right through without absorption, but the homogenization process breaks it up and allows it to be absorbed in digestion. I don't have a definitive source for this info, but I'm sold on the taste alone.

On that note, at my last physical, when they asked what do I eat, I told them mostly pork and milk, and my cholesterol is still fantastic.

For the record, that 1/2 GPD I drink is all whole milk.

I grew up on a dairy farm. Used to go though it like crazy. Not much anymore.

I now kinda subscribe to the HGH (human and Bovine Growth Hormone are IDENTICAL) in milk is not good for you and should be avoided for the most part.

SO I only really get dairy from Ice cream, butter, and cheese. Most of which I dont eat that much of. The little woman has a moderate dairy allergy, and I am Lactose Intolerant, though I can have a bowl of Ice cream and the occasional glass of milk, just not daily with out ill effect.
