But if i had to pick one, it would be the front subframe. After twice breaking the bolts off in the frame rails, i have cringed at the thought of taking another off. Those, and the bolts that hold late model bumpers on.turk@gutenparts.com

I am to this point now. I just like to save money, and know it's done right. I went to school to work on cars, and I absolutely hate it now.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5Comment

If bolts are not rusted I have no issues with anything on the car. Only thing that is annoying as fuck is the HV/AC panel install. Those damn cables annoy me beyond anything else. My big hands are not made to fit behind there.
My favorite thing to swap is the tranny or the starter. I love the new suspension on my track car because everything is covered in anti-sieze =)~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

The worst part to remove is my credit card from my wallet. It gets stuck tight in there with my other credit cards. When I finally get it out to pay the mechanic, I feel so relieved that I got to spend time with my family or go hiking in the mountains rather than busting my knuckles open on my car all weekend. I used to do all the work myself but 2 kids later, those days are few and far between.sigpicComment

I get that fuzzy feeling after completing work on my cars =) I like my split knuckles and the smell of fresh grease out of the 10gal bin. I love the feeling of my magnesium 1/2 impact zipping off bolts.
I had the worst weekend and everything that could have gone wrong did. I raged and all that good shit. But at the end of Sunday I have a freshly stripped and painted rear suspension. New bearings, removed all bolts covered everything in anti-seize. Then took my angle grinder to all the small surface rust on the belly and then repainted and undercoated everything.
I love working on cars, some people do it for a lack of money. I do it for a hobby, I am sure I am not the only one on here that does =)Last edited by F34R; 05-16-2011, 05:06 AM.~ Puch Cafe. ~ Do business? feedback ~ Check out my leather company ~

That. Those windows are a bear
Heater cores hard in e30's? Are you kidding me? It's like a 40 minute job if that (even the late model cars with the valve)...Comment
