Anyone familiar with this "validity tool" that windows..

I ran into that a couple weeks ago when checking for updates on my laptop....wasn't quite sure about it so I let it be. Sometimes Windows updating has led to more problems that solutions for me.

I let it install yesterday. I have a volume key that actually belongs to a large entity & it let me search for updates afterwards (there were none)

for all those people who have a pirated windows and want to get updates...there is a replacement dll file that lets you update...it's a simple backup the original and copy and paste the cracked dll.

I installed it, my computer didn't blow up.. but there's not a whole lot they can do to win2k users (no product activation BS here!).

its just another obstacle that can simply be worked around with the dll file replacement as mentioned

I installed it, and now my comp freezes every 3 mins after that update, and system restores don't remove it.
