So supposedly CERN has observed tachyons.

If you are not up on this stuff, tachyons are particles that move faster than the speed of light. Neutrinos (basically neutrons but with much less mass) were clocked at 2% faster than the speed of light with a margin of error of about .3%.

Lol truth. As for the whole traveling faster than light being time travel, I consider it more or less a faux time travel. All one is really doing is lessening the effects of time on the oneself, not really traveling to a given time point in the future. Nothing around the person changes, and the amount of time that passes outside of that person does not change.
