My first question is Why were the levees ignored for decades? After 9/11 fema stated the largest potential risks to the US were terrorist attack and Hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico (specifically New Orleans) My second question is where was the federal government for almost five days after this happened? Why was there no plan in place and why were so many people so unprepared for an event that was visable days before it occured?

The artical is confusing on one hand it says Britain is sending aid and on the other hand it asks will the people of Britain be ok with helping the US?

WTF how many billions (when a Billion was real money ;) did WE spend keeping them from speaking German???

part of the exploding population is because is many African societies, women have little choice in how they fuck or using birth control, unlike the US. That's simply a reason though, I still feel that we spend WAY too much money abroad, and we're seeing who scratches our back now, fucking Cuba.
