into the blue: better than I thought, pretty useless acting, but Jessica Alba is always a bonus. I give it a "rental" status.

You know, that movie actually surprised me a little. Decent action flick, Josh Brolin was good as the bad guy, and of course...

...every conceiveable angle known to man of Jessica Alba's wedgie.

Jessica Alba movies are definitely rent worthy just for the fact her hot ass is in them... that includes Honey (I just muted the volume).

I just saw Serenity this weekend. Very cool sci-fi flick... definitely got me hooked on the series. Wasn't very happy with a couple things, but I'm not going to tell someone how to write their movie... but all in all I thought it was a very good flick that kept me intrigued/laughing/in suspense throughout the whole movie. Nice part I went to go see it on my own... no wife there to complain about it being a nerd fest, etc.

I also want to see Wallace and Grommit pretty bad...

"Domino"- Overall I liked it, typical shaky, weird timeline Tony Scott [Man on Fire] type deal, but a good story. Mickey Rourke is a badass as usual

Seconded. I've seen it twice, and it was even funnier the second time around.

Everytime I think of "the goat" I chuckle.

                            You're ridiculous and terrible.

Gotta admit, I though the film was pretty sweet. If you were a fan of the old late 60's Eastwood & Fellini westerns, you'd like it. I think a lot of people were expecting a guy ritchie style gangster flick, it's definetly not that.

Cronenberg is a real blunt director, he pushed the contrasts in lifestyles a little further than some would, but I thought it gave it a kick. I liked that the "violent" scenes were just that, violent. Not stylized, not flashy, just blunt and brutal. I like that the main character gets hurt, and stays hurt. The sex scenes were really raw, and I was a little surprised at what they showed in an R rated flick.

It was much different than I expected. I really enjoyed it.

I'd have to vote for that one being a DVD buy.

So how many of you guys are stoked as hell for "Jarhead"? I love war movies, and you can't really go wrong with Jake Gyllenhall, Jamie Foxx, Chris Cooper, and Peter Saarsgard. This movie really looks like it's going to be a good one, lots of good war drama, and comedy blended together.
