Visually and audio wise it was fine, I just didn't like the story and some unbelivable aspects (ya ya I know its a movie about aliens)

i found WotW to be pretty good...i liked the way it was made in a way that you really felt the main characters struggle to survive. Or more just that random chance they survived.

Though it ended pretty abruptly.

but i mean all the times they excaped from the tripods, everytime it just seemed by chance/luck that they just happened to be spared.


i thought it pulled it off well without seeming like there was some divine intervention

I found it funny in WOTW, that after the plane crashed outside the house, and the whole subdivision was completely demolished, somehow their minvan just happened to be completely unscathed.

That's actually funny that you mention that. This weekend I saw an ad for it for the first time and my girlfriend said, "That looks dumb. It should just be 2 hours from a camera strapped to different bad-ass guns."

I'm looking forward to it now.

oh- I was thinking of a different British Gangster movie, not "I'll sleep..."; which looks like another Get Carter remake. The one I was thinking of was about some ganster who was trying to get out of the business but couldn't or something, I'll try and find it...

I am going to have to check that movie out, it sounds interesting.

Has anyone seen Momento or Run Lola Run? Those are some of my favorite movies.
