Sweet! Is that a late 1600 Sprint? The data plate is in the wrong place for it to be an earlier one. What engine is in it? Any pics of the interior?

Sweet! Very cool and rather rare car. They didn't make many since the Stepnose GTV was already released. I'd like one, but I like the layout of my Sprint's dash more.

Do you know what color the blue is?

I saw a thing about some mysterious auction in Vineland NJ of 200 Alfas. Most are outside in the weather and haven't been touched in years. Pretty sad looking conditions. Maybe some of them are usable.

One guy posted a list of cars and VINs....

                OP says there are:
Two Giulietta Sprints, one is 95% complete
                Three Giulietta/Giulia Spiders, parts cars
                Giulia Sprint GT step nose
                Two Duetto's

One guy thinks it may be Di Fatta Brothers. Another said D'Amico. Same place? Old dealer?

Oh, if this link still works, it's Friday the 7th at 10AM in Vineland NJ...

I see a couple of GTV6s and Milanos.

Seems like even a $200 car is going to cost you $1500 to ship cross country as a non-runner.

True, but I have a friend in PA who has a lot of property and loves going to auctions

Ohh! I wonder if any of those Milanos or GTV6s are relatively unrusted (ha)...

Crap! He can't go to the auction but said he could tow it for me and keep it as his house... Now how to actually buy the car!?

edit: anyone know how to research the VINs that they have available?

I dont know simon.......i dont think theses are cars anyone would want to buy sight unseen. One drop of rain makes a rust hole.

With that said, i am going to be in philly that day. I wonder how far away it is.......?

The pre 1970 stuff isn't so bad, the Pre 1965 stuff is even better. Pre 1960 has a high chance of not being recycled steel. My Sprint sat in a wet barn with a dirt floor and all the rust on the car happened prior to when it was parked there, and it seems to have all been from the battery.

I see a Sprint on one of those pics, might be a solid project. Heck, might be a Veloce as well.
