Another update on the Sprint. I spent last weekend going through the wiring harness. Its all here and in good shape, but due to the way its wired, I literally will need to have the engine in the car to test it. (Everything is wired in series.) Most of the harness is in good shape, however areas under the hood could be better. I'm now pondering pulling the whole harness out and starting over. (I really don't want to do that. Like, SERIOUSLY don't want to go there.) It would be the right thing to do on the car since the original harness is kinda cruddy with some overspray on it, and its missing some connectors here and there (mostly for lights.) I have found two sources for the harness, either Classic Alfa for about $425 or from a guy in texas for $1450... I'm not sure what makes the one made in the US worth $1000 more than the one Classic Alfa sells.

In other news, I have one 8lb flywheel, clutch, gear reduction starter, and small crank pulley (to clear the crossmember) sitting at home looking for an engine to climb onto. Also I just plunked down $1100 for the interior panels. Custom made in Italy using factory cloth and vinyl. (ouch) Should be done by May. I still need to send the chrome off to Victoria Chrome in BC. That will be another $1600 worth of stuff. The "Still needed" list is getting short, but I still need the carpet, brake shoes, hood insulation and some random small stuff.

Here are the wheels that should go on that Sprint.
Original magnesium Technomagnesio wheels from the TZ.
        Staggered 5.5x15 / 6x15.
        Perfect condition.
        5 thousand EUROS, baby! Ouch.

Nope, the car isn't a TZ, and I don't like the look of those wheels on anything other than a TZ. I want to show off the brake drums, not hide them.

In other news, the door panels are done and waiting for me to pick them up at the post office on my way home. Will post pics when I get home.

I didn't get the door panels, just the bulk material to redo the area below the rear window, and the rear center piece. I thought it was a little soon to have the door panels here.

In 1950, Mexico completed its stretch of the Pan-American Highway. To celebrate, the government organized La Carrera Panamericana, a race running south to north along the new stretch of road–and a race which quickly established itself as the most dangerous race of any kind in the world. For five years, drivers like Jua

Conrad, going over Mt Tam (and La Carrara). I've been to his shop in Berkeley, you'd never know what was inside the doors, until you walk in. It just looks like a beat up old house.

These two Giulietta Spiders dominated their groups.

Green one has a 2L running in DP

Gray one has a high comp 1600, though Im sure both were running high compression by the sounds of it. Gray had a confirmed 12:1 motor. Was also his mothers racecar from years and years ago....

Green suit to match his car haha
