    190e, the new "e30"?

    check that out.

i think 190es are set to become the new cheap 80s german car to buy. there is one with 89k miles for $3250. it would be at least double that if it were an e30. and we'd all be drooling all over it.

wish i had space for another car. i'd like to check them out. still searching for my 190e 2.3-16.

If it was easier to find them in manual, I would own one right now.

      Try finding a manual.

There's a manual in a local salvage yard here. I've been looking for one as a daily forever. I'd pay extra to snag one off of CL, but I bet as soon as I do, something nice will pop up for cheap local.

There's a guy in MKE that keeps putting up a 2.3 16v Cosworth every now and then. $5500, so I presume it needs something..

W123's intrest me more, but as a whole what differs BMW vs Mercedes( actually used to) is that BMWs were the driving enthusiast's car and Mercedes was the relaxing touring car, hence the more manuals available in the BMW range of cars and autos in the mercedes range.

I didn't think Merc even offered a manual state side until '97?

The new e30? Never. If you love the driving dynamics of the e30. You'll hate a 190e. Haven't driven a cosworth though.

The gf has one, it's a neat little car.

Problems: funky door mirrors, and K-jet.

From what I've heard though, the Cossie is actually MORE expensive to maintain than the e30 M3. Couple members here helped steer me away from picking one up a year or so back.
