    Good free anti virus

The Norton free trial that came on my laptop just expired. What online downloadable alternative does R3v recommend?

If you're running Windows 7, Microsoft Security Essentials.

The guys who were working on AVG when it was completely free started up Avira.

I use Avira on my PC and there's no need for one on a Mac.

AVG started in 1992, Avira started in 1987.

You have been mislead if you think Mac's do not have viruses hehe.

                              QFT.

I've always had a MAC and always had some kind of anti-virus software.
