You should pull your teacher aside and thank him for caring enough about the class attendees as well as yourself to man up and call you on an offensive shirt. If he did not give a F*CK then he would have just went about his business and not made a comment.

I assume its a male professor and he was also protecting his own ass. If his boss - the DEAN or some other authority figure happened into the lecture / class and was doing some casual observation well it would be easy to single you out with your intended offensive advertising and slam the F*CK out of his ass in the next meeting that they had together. In this economy said professor needs to be mindful of job security and pay increases. Both of which could be affected by allowing things like this to continue.

In short - we all make choices in life to either be mindful of our fellow man or not to.
We have all seen people who are oblivious to their fellow mans feelings or concerns and although we dont state it we are always agitated by it.

Try not to feed on this need to be rebellious and have to stand out and gain attention from others by wearing clothing that is offensive in nature. In all settings regardless of location and class strata.
It will help you develop what is viewed by others as positive dress and attire.

Life is a stage and we are all players. Practicing to be the person that others respect is a lifelong pursuit so its not for the weak at heart.

Unfortunately , life is about conforming in many ways and you are just getting a small taste of what it means to be a non-conformist. I went down that road for a while as well and came to the conclusion that its much easier to just go along with the status quo.

Okay so fuck has definitely evolved to something further beyond just that definition, but all we know is that its vulgar. Since the word in itself is just an empty shell of itself, due to how it's used, then there is no concrete meaning and therefore no need to just limit it to vulgar use. Hell I could yell at some one, "YOU LOOK REALLY GOOD IN THAT DRESS" but that could still mean something negative by it's connotation/use in that situation.

If you can follow me from so far than you can keep on reading. The words 'manners' and 'social etiquette' have been brought up. I think this is the weakest argument only because, once again, there is no universal agreement on such general ideas. Ex) One culture can identify burping after a meal can as proper manners while the other doesn't. Manners and etiquette are TAUGHT to us, not derived from nature, so it is all based on perception; or to simplify it, something that we are always changing on a fluid basis. Ex) A single black person was once thought to equal less than one white person. Boy what a change that has been. People set standards but those standards change with conventional wisdom! Yet there is no science behind that besides its explanation which we can thank mob mentality for.

These are just on the top of the head examples so don't read too far into them but hopefully you get my point. I like abiding by 'do to others what I want done to me'. It's simple and vague yet it covers all the 'etiquette' I need to follow. His shirt wasn't aimed at anybody and honestly it has no meaning so why fret? If he want's to work for some one else, then yes he needs to abide by their wishes because they are paying him, but this isn't the case. Blindly doing as your told by 'the man' or society is more dangerous than any possible form of personal expression through clothing. It's how governments control you and it's how real progression of the human race becomes stagnant.

There is a giant societal funnel into which our perceived realities get drained into. It's something that people do without thinking and that's okay. The real art though is being able to stand on the side of the funnel and to be able to walk away from it. That holds true to whatever beliefs or religion man holds dear to them.
