This will turn out like Funfgaf's engine swap, just more expensive and pretentious.
For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!

Best idea in this thread so far. A carbed LQ9 kicks serious ass

I just took my 200k plus e30 (whose headgasket has never seen daylight) on an unexcpected 17 hour banzai road trip to buy a car and all it did was lick my balls after. Fuck new BMWs.

Exactly why the 530s are more desireable.

You guys not read my last post? I'm already done. Low mileage M62 already swapped. Just wanted to update to let Royfagson know he's a douche and the swap turned out great.

                            It was right around $3,000.

So it was 3k for a head gasket on a 2xx,xxx motor. OR 3k for a 67k motor w/ leakdown test etc. apparently some grandma got hit in the rear, she never drove it anywhere. The motor is in immaculate condition.

Yea I like them a lot man. I didn't want to see it going to the scrap yard and I didn't swap it for resale value, I did it so I can keep the car and enjoy it.
