Teacher/Professor. I spent 2 years as an Education major and loved it. Unfortunately, my aspirations are higher than those i would achieve on solely teachers salary in a time when there is chaos in the education field. I hope to continue my degree (International Finance), land a solid job and go back to teach High School or even at a University or community college once I have established a solid savings account and quality of life.

Volenteer for the park service/campground host. That what my dad does in his retirement and he loves it.

              I love my job.

I blog about all different aspects of the automotive industry and get paid, I can also work anywhere I can get internet (so anywhere I get phone service).

After I get my degree in a couple years I'm going to be teaching English in Japan (pays bank) for a few years while I travel Europe, Asia and the likes. Another dream job.

After that when I come back to the states I'd like to get a job as a teacher of English or Science, or a researcher in the field, as my two top choices, but honestly I have so many dream jobs.

I also plan to continue having many small business ventures along the way, things that I enjoy but also can make profits from.

Life is too much fun to not do what you want. Choosing a high-paying job you dislike over doing something you love is wasting the most important gift you've ever been given, life.

But I'm old school, I like old cars with soul, I dislike anything plastic, I grow my own food, I believe DIY is a way of life not a weekend job, I'd rather restore an old car with my son then waste that same money on an iPhone or whatever stupid material items people tend to flock to...

Follow your dreams, do what you love, fuck the haters.

I guess it helps to have a large penis.

                Town drunk.

Walking around mumbling insults under my breath as I take a swig from a bottle and stumble through peoples yards. Yell, "YOU THINK YOUR BETTER THAN ME?!!" at trees, small children and yuppie families at the park. Sounds like a peaceful existence to me.

Really tho, I'd like to do something mechanical. Work with my hands.

Not sure what teaching gig's you've looked into, but most of the jobs in Japan definitely arn't paying "bank" unless your Japanese is rock solid and you can manage your own private tutoring business where you basically get paid to meet for coffee and chat. I know because it was something I wanted to try after visiting there, then reality struck.

I'd be an astronomer in a heartbeat if it wasn't an insane amount of schooling followed by work that doesn't exactly making paying off student loans easy.

Eh my Japanese is already very conversational and I'm only half-way through 102.

Starting at 45k for 6 months work is bank in my opinion, 6k increase each year you work, full benefits including paying for quality housing, and summers off. Sounds perfect to me. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea though.

I would love to work at somewhere like cosworth building and designing engines that would be as sweet ass job. Or just running my own buisness building race engines.

To the guys talking about teaching english in Japan, have you heard about the JET program? I don't know a whole lot about it, but have a friend that is planning on moving over there this summer to teach.

Yeah it's through the JET program, I have a few friends who do it, and my Japanese teacher has quite a few ex-students who are doing it. Everyone who has loves it so I feel pretty confident about it.

Diving board conversion on the cards?
What do you mean by this?
