Basically the currency of the deep web. You can buy hits, info, cp, drugs, who knows what else. There's even a guy that will steal things for you from stores like Target in exchange for bitcoins. There are only a limited amount of bitcoins as well, and the exchange rate fluctuates like normal currency.

I've heard there are a lot of snuff films and stuff of that nature as well.

I heard about this awhile ago from reddit I think. If I recall to access it you have to use the TOR browser. It's encrypted or some shit. Then to access sites you have to use onion domains. They look like an58923dBjletr.onion using random characters and not words like google.com
If you decide to access it I would run some serious security like vtunnel and proxies. Hackers man.

I was just on there. Its...weird. Kinda confusing, not sure if I wanna fuck with it based on other's experiences, but of course probably 99.999% of people who do illegal things on there don't get caught. I just don't wanna be hacked/have my computer used/whatever shit could happen.
