Hopefully theres an updated version of nuketown, and of course my trusty steyr aug. I also really liked playing "pure" game mode in mp, hope to see that again as well.

      Absolutely agree

Not too crazy about the whole psuedo-futuristic thing. I'm not a big Halo multiplayer guy; I like the storylines, but I hope they at least stick closer to the roots of what made COD Multi fantastic, COD4 and MW2, which, since it's Treyarch... Isn't all too likely.. MW3 was a bust.. I wish we didn't buy the Hardened edition so I could return it and buy MW2 back.. I love my Commando :'(

        Futuristic shit turns me off.

Pretty much agree with everything said, and I am some what of a COD fanboy. I don't think there has been a COD that I haven't had...

            Only for the zombies (Treyarch).

If they aren't doing the zombie mode, then I'll stick with BF3

Um.... people are really saying MW2 Multiplayer was good? What kind of crack are you smoking, it might give you quite the high.

COD1/2/3 - All the same damn game, also were set during the same time period, limited creativity by developers (Infinity Ward)

COD4 - Arguably good game. Pretty balanced gameplay. Some new mechanics which were good. Sound was ok. Graphics engine was pretty advanced for it's time.

COD 5 (WAW) - Pretty good. some guns were too powerful and should have been patched. But support was good while it was a relevant game. Realistic recoil (not shooting laser rifles) Hard to be excellent at.

COD6 MW2 - Terrible game support, took a year and a day to patch vital game breaking issues. Never fixed pro pipes and OMA. the nuke was probably the worst idea to ever hit a COD title. Probably the most broken piece of garbage that has ever had the unfortunate contact with my computer and xbox. granted, it was innovative with newer killstreaks perks. commando for the panic knifing bads. Appealed to bad players.

COD 7 - BO good gameplay. amazing support. they fixed problems before I or anyone i played with were aware of them. Good graphics engine. Began Lag compensation, which after a few quick patches works well. More basic killstreaks, but focuses more on the gun on gun battles we expect. Innovative new weapons. average sound.

COD 8 MW3. Very bad overall. produced for bad players, again like MW2. Below average support. Patches are slow, glitches are still being found. Good weapon balance. But too many flaws (deathstreaks, Overpowered perks (no alternatives), bad sound, terrible map design, too much clutter, Lag compensation is still being tuned) Grenades arent worth having equipped. Though, the maps look cool, which again, most bad or average players care about.

COD BO2 - I dont expect too much honestly. It will probably be geared for bad players, hopefully not as much as MW titles. I think there are going to be overpowered perks to start off, but there will be patches to fix them. Treyarc is good at supporting their games, so hopefully no glitches, cheats, exploits, etc.

Edit: before you all go off on me like i have no idea how to have fun, I do have fun playing COD, MW2 was fun at times. I played competitive Game battles and tourneys starting with Black Ops (including a trip to Boston, Massachusetts to play), so that's where my reviews are coming from, a semi-pros point of view, not a pleasure player having fun.

don't mind me, I'm just going to keep playing CS: Source, since it's better and more fun than any COD game ever produced.

^ This man knows what he's talking about.

                Remember the care package glitches?

However, to be fair, Infinity Ward was going through some internal struggles at the time as well.

same here they better come out with some innovative zombie shit or else i am not even going to bother.

not to sure if i like where this is going, seems like way too much stuff packed in here. kind of like mw2 how it seemed bad ass on the commercials but ended with the shortest single player campaign ever.

That preview reminded me of Killzone. Driving Mechs, riding a horse, and in a cockpit? Wonder if that will be only single player...still won't buy it unless steam has a good sale.

Oh, and if you want zombie killing fun, check out Arma2 dayz. It's still in alpha, but it's damn fun.

I finally broke down and bought it. First thing I've bought that actually uses my computers hardware. Dayz is ridiculously fun, overlooking the glitches, but its still an alpha mod..so those are expected I suppose.

Are you on bf3 much lately? I haven't been on in weeks...

COD 1-2 were infinity ward, 3 was treyarch.
COD1-2 were fantastic games that pretty much made shooters into what they are now.

Cod is for players who lack skill. All I normally play is bf3, I got on mw3 the other day and played with some friends. I got mvp with 21 and 12 and almost double the points than anyone else on the leaderboard. And I was only a level 23 with less than four hours on the game.
