I'd like to slam a B35 into mine, and my still work on it for the torques, but the oil sump is in the wrong location. Would have to redesign it and the pan to fit properly and clear the front axle. M30 4hp22 bellhousings are a dime a dozen from blown 4hps.

When I was looking at Land Cruisers I was also looking at 4bt's. A good friend of mine brought up a very interesting point.
Everyone who swapped a 4bt into a Land Cruiser never kept it. They would sink all that money into it, keep it a few months, and then sell it. The 4bt is an industrial engine, and not very liveable for even the big diesel enthusiast. Keep in mind an 80 series cruiser is a large, well built rig.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury.
