YAY! This marks 8k miles on this swap, and no real running issues. Also, almost a year since I got it.

My discovery is officially more reliable than my E30. Fuel pump number 2 went out last night...

I'd like to slam a B35 into mine, and my still work on it for the torques, but the oil sump is in the wrong location. Would have to redesign it and the pan to fit properly and clear the front axle. M30 4hp22 bellhousings are a dime a dozen from blown 4hps.

I need to get my B34 block out of the barn and dick with the sump and see what I can come up with. This M52 really is lacking. Was thinking about using some of the room in my engine bay for an Eaton M90/M62, but would rather not fool with F/I.

I still have a serious RRC bug. Love my disco in all, but really leaning for a Rangie. Of course I also want an 80 or 100 series land cruiser too...

I'd love to go diesel, but nothing really satisfies my power craving. I know that sounds silly, but a B35 is 207hp/225tq. IDK, I guess I'm trying to get as close to the 4.2 output as possible, but I'm a hardcore BMW guy, so, yeah.

I must say, after driving Inufaye's Disco, and checking out a few others, I'm in the Rangie camp firmly.

Ohh man, I was looking into a 4BT. IDK, I'm just kind of plugging along with the M52 for now. It is very lack luster to say the least, lol.

D90 with 4bt is what I lust for with great desire. All though I think a disco would be eaiser to live with for what my primary use would need

When I was looking at Land Cruisers I was also looking at 4bt's. A good friend of mine brought up a very interesting point.

Everyone who swapped a 4bt into a Land Cruiser never kept it. They would sink all that money into it, keep it a few months, and then sell it. The 4bt is an industrial engine, and not very liveable for even the big diesel enthusiast. Keep in mind an 80 series cruiser is a large, well built rig.
