I will say that I believe that they are spreading something in the air. Official response is weather control but without detailed further information it sounds shady. Surprised that you haters of big government aren't more for this.

Funny, in my 8+ years of experience with aircraft systems, flight training, aviation education, and airline operations.... I've not found one fucking "chem" tank, procedure, system, or anything else to indicate any airplane is equipped to do this sort of shit. Also, if "they" were using special military transports to get this done, the military would be fucking hiring more pilots. They're not, I've tried.

Also, you'd be able to hear them on the radio. Operating in class A airspace = MANDATORY IFR flight plan. Otherwise you'd have some serious traffic separation problems with RVSM airspace. While military aircraft broadcast on UHF band, Air Traffic Control still speaks to them on the VHF frequencies that the rest of us use. Go listen for yourself.

Honestly, the root of all of this is that the general public's understanding of airplanes and aviation is so pathetically poor, that I am completely at a loss for words to describe it.
