The most random "fight" almost occurred today

So I was at the UPS store, waiting to ship stuff. Girl comes and measures door panels. She types in zip code, quotes me $250.

My friend and I go "Holy crap! Are you serious? Fuck! What are the other options? That is fucking crazy." The girl shakes her head and is like "I dunno."

Out of nowhere, a guy... 110 lbs soaking wet, 5'2" or so says "Hey don't fucking talk to her like that."

I look over my shoulder, look at him, and say "Shut your fucking mouth." Turn back away. He says "Fuck you, bitch, don't talk to her like that." I again turn to look at him and say "Shut your mouth, asshole and mind your own business." And he goes "Fuck you bitch, come over and make me!" I go "I could pick you up and twist you in two. What's the point?"

He starts screaming "Fuck you dog! COME PICK ME UP! COME ON! FIGHT ME DAWG!" At this point I'm like I'm about 6'1", 195 lbs, literally about twice his size. He is screaming all sorts of crap, trying to lift up his pants and shirt (like ghetto kids do before they're about to fight.)

Apparently the girl is his girlfriend and she tells us "You guys need to leave." And I'm like "Ok, we are." We start picking up our stuff (door panels, rear seats, cams) and this guy is screaming "That's right bitch, leave." I'm laughing at him, telling her to put him on a leash, telling him to fuck off, etc.

It was pathetic because his gf was as big as he was, this is WHERE SHE FUCKING WORKS, and he's trying to fight two guys that could beat him to death one-handed.

I have never seen a bigger (littler?) case of Napoleon Complex in my entire life. How has this guy not gotten shot already?

You want to know why I responded to that little asshole that way? Because about a week and a half ago in Vegas, my girlfriend and I were having an argument (she was VERY drunk and emotional) on the strip and she was walking away. I tried to steer her back towards the car (so we could go back to our hotel) and some drunk piece of shit hick got in my face and said "Hey, don't touch a lady! IF she doesn't wanna go with you she doesn't have to!" and tried to fight me right there in the street, beer bottle in hand. When I told him to screw off and walked after her, he started FOLLOWING us. Into a hotel. Up to the lobby desk. And then he stood in front of me and said 'hit me' and tried to be a big fucking white knight piece of shit until the hotel staff escorted this psycho out.

So you know what? That is running through my head as soon as I hear similar words out of the mouth of this little prick. So I've about had it with white knight ass-hattery and I do believe I have shown an incredible amount of restraint not wrecking TWO belligerent dipshits who have stuck their nose in my business.

Does that maybe help you understand my position a little more clearly?

And you think I'm a 'd-bag?' That's fine. But what would you say if I smashed either of those assholes' faces and gave their face some new geometry? Would that then be acceptable? Better than showing restraint? You act as if me cussing at this moron and telling him off is so reprehensible. But if I broke his nose and smashed his head into a wall, if I beat him like he deserves in front of his girlfriend, then what? Would you be saying "You shouldn't have gotten physical?" Draw the line somewhere instead of dragging it all over the place.

Everyone in this thread just sounds full of shit when they act like they'd have done better. And I guarantee you if there wasn't bandwagon flaming going on in here, some of the same posters would be saying "MAN, you should've beat his ass!"

Those are two completely separate situations with completely separate circumstances. Although they may have a similarity they are not the same.

Furthermore, I have drawn a line. It was when I stated that your response was unnecessary and then proceeded to provide a more acceptable response. For your information, I never said you were a d-bag because I don't know you, just said how you described the event made you look like one.

As far as bandwagons, there is no such thing going on here. There have been many a threads with people posting and being proud of their uncivilized actions. Some have been banned, I'm not trying to attack you just wanted to let you know, you could have handled the issue better and described it in you post better.

Probably not, because we're not children. We think in literal terms and realistically the outcomes of said situations. Guaruntee no one would tell you to beat his ass because we know the outcome; you'd have a bunch of witnesses testifying against you that you hit him first and continued to beat him.
