Yeah, I think next year might be a bit soon. But definitely a year they come through Hallett and back up around your area.

This is the most recent picture I got of my MX5 (European Market Miata).

It's a 1994 "Transition Model", meaning it got parts from both before and after the 1994/95 "facelift".
 -1.8 engine
 -84.000km (about 52k miles)
 -ABS
 -Power Steering
-Driver's side airbag (became stock in Germany 1995)
 -Slim dashboard (no passenger airbag)
-15" NB Miata wheels (Enkei, very light and look good)
 -Two previous owners
 -Full documented history
-Came with an original hardtop (no-one needs or wants those around here)

Originally I wanted to get a cheap MX5 1.8, strip the interior, cage it and get a supercharger-kit fitted (and approved).
But the car I ended up buying was, apart from some heavy rust, too good to do that to it.
So I took it apart, had the rust removed (without any filler, since that promotes rust), and now I'm almost done putting it back together.
Only changes I'm doing is a roll bar and upgraded brakes (by going for better ones, not bigger ones).

 Max

The 2019 engine updates are making me consider going to test drive a new Miata.

I love the 135i, but it's quick enough around town as to be frustrating. I got my first speeding ticket in a decade after owning it for 3 weeks. Thankfully the LEO was cool and didn't write me for what he really could have and just gave me a 10 over, so it wouldn't go on my record.

It's hard to enjoy your car when you step on it and you're going 80 in 2 seconds lol.

A light, moderately powered car is way more enjoyable around town IMO than a 300hp + car.Comment
