Neither will be as ridged as an E30. NB is better than the NA, though. However, a couple of braces, a roll bar, and some stitch welding along the seems on an NA go a LONG way.

Really? I'm surprised that the NB is not as sturdy as an E30. I thought that being at least 5 years newer than an E30 (which was designed at least 10 years before the NB), it would have some further bracing that bring the rigidity level up. E30's aren't that rigid, there's not a whole lot hiding behind those door panels when you pull them off.
The only NB's I have driven (two of them) have been '03 and '04's, so they should have been on the stiffer side of the NB line, to be fair, but they also seemed pretty solid. No obvious cowl shake with the top down, on stock suspension.Comment

I've driven a beaten on 1.6 and a NB with intake/exhaust (maybe a chip) and would still love to try out a 1.8 NA with a few mods. Only because I prefer the body on the NA.
The NB is a blast to drive even with very little torque, compared to an m20 e30. The intake and exhaust screaming together as you whip around bends with the top down is something I didn't know I loved. Up until about a week ago I wasn't sure convertibles had any real purpose. Now it all makes sense. I'm in CT and for the past 3 days I've had the top down, even yesterday when it was snowing lightly.
I'll start looking differently at the miata guys at autox from here on out. Though I'll probably still keep some distance.Comment

Yes, Miata's that aren't stanced with stretched, non-sticky tires are awesome.

However, the cars you posted are merely Vortex fags who bought roadsters.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com
