I watched a guy pile a brand new GT2 into the wall in Turn 8 at Sears Point a couple years ago. The car didn't even have plates yet. The rear wing ended up being used as an air dam on our 24hrs of Lemons car (Ford Escort ZX2, aka, The Filthy...) It remains there still.
