2002 C5 Z06 just ticked 25K miles. Bought it with 22K miles and bought it to drive :) Mod list is ridiculous and it's been a blast to drive. I upgraded to a Wilwood SL6R front BBK and all poly bushings. Huge improvement! It far outperforms my driving skills on track. So I'll continue to work on that.

What's the handling like compared to say a really well sorted E30 with a similar level of mods?
Handling is quite amazing actually! As it no longer has any real "stock" suspension I couldn't compare it to the previous arrangement. With the coilovers and poly bushings the Z has a surprising amount of feedback for the driver, but still pails in comparison to my e30.
Compared to my built e30.....e30 was smaller and lighter and way easier to drive at the edge. Or at least what I perceived to be the edge I've recently learned that I don't have the same comfort level driving at the track as just about everyone else I've ever ridden with.
I have another track weekend on the 15th. Hopefully I'll be more comfortable in the new car and willing to drive harder.Originally posted by blunttechAlways Always go for the reach around if there is an option
