Which model did you get?
I'm looking at optima for my vert but they don't seem to carry any that have the recessed posts...so it doesn't hit the hood up front when closed

they are a bit smaller than oem units, so move it inwards and it's should be no problem....
my car is a convertible as well, oem cables.
Looking for clear picture as battery it's in a friends vette right now,
I'll have model number this evening.
cheers.
Picked this up over the weekend. Love it! Kinda like riding the BMW of bikes. Real smooth and solid. Haven't done any exercise in 2 years, but rode this to work today, 16 miles round trip. The trip was great, but, damn, the seat is stiff as hell. Ordered a gel seat tonight! Fixing THAT problem immediately! :finger:

Beautiful.
Any need to get a longer positive bat cable?
What model specifically is the one you got?
I got the SC34U, running it with side post facing firewall as I don't like their
proximity to shock tower and to avoid having to extend positive cables.
Battery is not as long as oem units,
so top negative post will not hit if you set it right and clamp it down.
