Pretty sure that's a MD plate, and I recall there being something flood city (maybe a beer?) associated with PA.

            Edit:

For rule purposes, this should be stateside sometime in July. Touring #4, M40 power, and maybe one I'll really want to keep this time.

I couldn't say no to $120 shipped. I looked through the classifieds before I bought a new one.

i was perusing a pawnshop today and found this:

the 1/4" set is brand new and unused. i paid 100 bucks for it. i looked it up and apparently snap on sells it for 550.00

i have been wanting one of those ratcheting screw drivers for over 20 years now. i think it was a new product when i was in A&P school.

the 3/8" flex ratchet was 35.00.

i started slowly replacing my craftsman metric tools as i find good deals on them.

the also had a complete 3/8" set similar to the set in the red case. they wanted 180.00 for it. i may go back after it.....

Man....maybe it's just me....but....I can't buy from pawn shops. I get the overwhelming feeling half the stuff is stolen. And stealing a man's tools is the lowliest of crimes. (I know the pawn shops take serial numbers and DL numbers, and are to report it all to the police, but I don't buy it)

Where I love getting good tools from is estate sales. Give me a 50 year old metal file over anything you can by today. 40 year old benchtop grinder, yep, that will last a life time. And storage centers on forclosed units. Some good stuff there too.

                            ^

In the 5 zillion Pawn shops we have around here, They have the most beat to shit destroyed Snap tools marked for 95% of NEW off the truck prices and tools in nearly new to new shape for 10-15% OVER what they cost off the truck. H/F shit at new or more than new prices. I have scored some decent Wright and old school S&K for a lark here and there though since no one knows what Wright is and S&K is now something else.

I am slowly swapping all the metric stuff in my truck boxes over to OLD S&K, Proto, etc ... since no one knows what they are. My main box is going to be going to mostly wright someday.
