Mid century bakelite 8 tube Airline with AUX input and an AC transformer. All of the appeal of a tube radio but without the risk of DC electric shock. FM and iPod abilities are huge, too. AM only sucks.

It's a Powermatic 143 and has a 2 speed gearbox so will do metal and wood. The adjustable pulley chart shows 3000 as highest speed and 40 as lowest speed.
It's a beaut, made in Tennensse. 220V, 3/4hp, 14 inch throat, 6 inch vertical capacity. Not a huge saw but capable, pretty much exactly what i wanted.
