Fuck cancer. That sums it up I think.

My uncle died yesterday. He was diagnosed with cancer about 9 months ago. It was riddled thoughtout his body and had been having chemo treatments. They were slowly working aparently. Then yesterday suffered a heart attck and passed away.

What makes it worse is he lives in Perth, and I am going there next week for a training course. Was looking forward to seeing him. But now I will be going there for a funaral.

He was one of those guys who was friends with everyone and could make you laugh at even the most stupid jokes. Looked out for everyone as well, was his job since he was a safety inspector.

RIP Uncle Chris.

I hear you. I've lost several close family members in the last few years to cancer, just have to roll with it and keep your spirits up.

I had a friend who beat cancer (cut out a big tumor in his jaw, chemo etc) and actually got a beanie made saying FUCK CANCER across the front. Less than a year later he was hit by a drunk driver on his R1. Closed casket funeral.

F@ck cancer is right. My GF's mom was diagnosed w/ lung cancer a couple months ago and it's been really hard watching her decline at such a rapid rate and not being able to do anything. I feel you bro. My heart goes out to you and your fam.

Cancer is a bitch. My dad fought it for 4 years and in the end still lost. And to make matters worse, there are no easy losses to cancer, sucks right up till the end for everyone involved.

Lost my dad to brain cancer in January after almost a year long battle. (im still in high school for Christ's sake)
Fuck cancer, It fucking sucks.
During my dads struggle, my mind would label (even though I tried not to) evil people or objects as cancer and I would be internally vengeful of those people or things.
Not only did it fuck with my dads mind physically, it fucked with my mind mentally.

My wife survived cancer only because they could take one whole kidney, but we lost her mom and 3 close friends over the past 2yrs, one was last week.

Cancer sucks.

I'm doing a ride for cancer this weekend actually. I raised $2800, and a good chunk of that came from very generous R3v members. Actually, I was sort of hoping I could reach $3000 by Friday. Something like 1 in 5 people will be diagnosed with cancer.
