I am a closet r3ver.

Only because I hate talking about cars to the general public, and I hate when people try to talk cars with me. I hate going to car-meets and I hate when people ask me for help on their car. I just like my car dammit. I literally never browse the Members Rides forums because I don't care about anyone's car except mine haha.

I talk about cars, occasionally, but I try to refrain from it. If someone else brings something up i'll talk with them though. I don't talk too much about r3v at all, not that I'm necessarily embarrassed but I just know it's not something most people would care about.

Really though, my friends all now know what r3v is and make fun of me for spending time on here. For the most part though they like my car and without realizing it they know a good deal about e30s now. As soon as conversations turn to their cars I pretty much change the subject/stop talking.

You're probably one of those people that only does things that are accepted as being "cool" by your friends and care way too much about how people see you.

I guess I view things differently because I don't really think about doing things because they're cool as a nerdy guy. But I feel bad for people that don't do the hobbies/interests what they want because of what other people will think about them.
